PDA

     A PDA or pocket PC is a stalker's best friend in the Zone. It is a multifunctional device that will help you stay informed about everything that has happened or is happening around you. In it you can:

• View the Map. Here you will see the entire map of the Zone, explored regions and locations, where you are now, quest markers, caches, and other important markers. You can add notes yourself, for example, so that you don't forget an interesting place you're going to explore later.
• View Mission Log. The log shows all active and completed missions. It's easy to figure out what to do next.
• Read Notes. All found documents, letters, audiologs, and other important information that will help you better understand the history of the Zone and its inhabitants are stored here.
• Work with Upgrades of the equipment. In the Upgrades window, you can view already installed and available weapon and equipment upgrades.
• Review the training materials again.

     To open the PDA, press P on the keyboard or View on the controller. The keyboard also contains keys to directly access sections of the handheld: M - Map, J - Journal, K - Notes, U - Upgrades, O - Training.
