How to use Mods in the Zone!

Modding S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is a great way to enhance and personalize your experience in the Zone. Depending on your platform, the process is slightly different. Here's how it works:

For Steam Users

Steam uses the Steam Workshop for mod management. Here's how to get started:

Installing Mods on Steam

1. Before launching the game, open the Steam Workshop for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
2. Browse available mods.
3. Click Subscribe on any mods you'd like to install.
4. Launch the game. Subscribed mods will automatically be downloaded and applied.

Removing Mods on Steam

1. Before launching the game, go to the Steam Workshop.
2. Click Unsubscribe on any mods you want to remove.
3. Launch the game. Unsubscribed mods will no longer be active.

For Other Platforms (Game Pass, Epic Games, Xbox console, GOG)

Other platforms use mod.io for mod support.

Getting Started with mod.io

1. Go to mod.io and log in.
2. Link your game account (e.g., Xbox, Epic Games, etc.).
3. You can browse mods on the website or directly inside the in-game Mod Browser.

Installing Mods via mod.io

• Subscribe to a mod to install it. The game will automatically download and install the mod.
• You can also manage your mods via the in-game Mod Manager:
  • Enable/disable mods.
  • Unsubscribe to remove mods.
