Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to capture videos or screenshots if you’re enjoying S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 on a console.
1. Capturing a Video or Screenshot on Xbox
Here’s how to do it:
- Screenshot: When the issue occurs, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide. Then, press Y to capture a screenshot.
- Video Clip: To capture a video of the problem, press the Xbox button again, and then press X. This will record the last 30 seconds to 2 minutes of gameplay, depending on your settings.
If you need to adjust your recording settings, go to Settings > Preferences > Capture & share, where you can set the recording length.
2. Access Your Captures
Follow these steps:
- Press the Xbox button on your controller.
- Navigate to Capture & share.
- Select Recent captures to view your saved screenshots and video clips.
3. Download the Capture to Your Phone or PC
You can get your screenshots and videos off the console onto your phone or PC. There are two ways to do this:

Using the Xbox Mobile App:
- Download and open the Xbox app on your phone.
- Sign in with your Xbox account.
- Tap the Library icon and go to Captures.
- Select the screenshot or video you want to share, and download it to your device.

Using OneDrive:
- On your Xbox, go to the Capture & share tab and find your video or screenshot.
- Select Share and choose OneDrive.
- The file will upload to your OneDrive, where you can access it from any device.
