With the help of audio settings, you can change the sound of the game to your liking and create exactly the atmosphere you like while immersed in the Zone.
- In the main menu of the game, open Options.
- Click on Sound.
Here's what you can configure here:
- Master volume: Responsible for the sound level in the game as a whole. Do you want to feel every rustle of grass or distant mutant growl or, on the contrary, mute everything for a more relaxing game? Just adjust this slider.
- You can set the music volume, SFX volume, and dialog volume separately.
- The Mute all switch lets you play in complete silence, and the Combat music option lets you mute the music that plays during fights so you can hear your enemies better.
- Output device - selects the device through which the sound will be played.
- Output device type lets you select the type of device to optimize the sound for that device.
- Turning on Mono mode reduces the sound to a single channel, which means that the sound is the same in both headphones or speakers.
- Dynamic range determines the difference between quiet and loud sounds in the game. A wider range makes loud sounds more powerful and quiet sounds almost inaudible. A narrower range reduces the difference, which can be useful for playing at low volume levels or in noisy environments to hear everything clearly.
Streamer mode
In the settings, you can turn on a special mode for streamers - it turns off music that may infringe copyright during the game broadcast. In this mode, you can safely stream your adventures in the Zone without worrying about claims. To turn it on:
- In the main game menu, open Options.
- Click Game.
- Turn on Streamer mode.
- Save the settings.
